Help me connect Sommont Luca to this assistant.
Sommont is my private wine journal. Luca helps me save tasting notes, remember bottles, understand my preferences, and explore my cellar.
Production connection details:
- Website: https://sommont.com
- Remote MCP URL: https://mcp.sommont.com/mcp
- Authentication: OAuth through my Sommont account
- ChatGPT desktop marketplace: wisewoodholdings-eng/sommont-luca-plugin
- Marketplace Git ref: main
- Production plugin: sommont-luca
- Sparse paths: leave blank
First check whether Sommont tools are already available here. If they are, try a read-only request to show my tasting log. If sign-in is required, help me complete the official connection flow.
If Sommont tools are unavailable:
- In ChatGPT desktop, help me add the marketplace above and install Sommont Luca. If a ZIP upload option is available instead, use the single production plugin archive, not the full marketplace archive.
- In ChatGPT without marketplace or upload support, help me add the remote MCP connection if my account permits it.
- In Claude, help me add Sommont Luca as a custom remote connector using the MCP URL above. Do not use the Codex installation commands for Claude.
- In Codex, if terminal tools are available, add the marketplace with `codex plugin marketplace add wisewoodholdings-eng/sommont-luca-plugin --ref main`, then install `codex plugin add sommont-luca@sommont`.
Perform setup directly only if your available tools support it. Otherwise guide me one step at a time. If you cannot determine which app or mode I am using, ask before giving platform-specific instructions.
Let me enter credentials and approve permissions in the sign-in flow. Use the production connection only. If the platform requests OAuth client settings you cannot discover, explain what is missing rather than inventing them.
After setup, tell me if I need to start a new conversation or enable the plugin or connector. Verify access by reading my tasting log. Only report that the connection works after a Sommont tool succeeds. If the log is empty, confirm that and offer to help me record my first bottle; do not write a test entry automatically.
If setup is unavailable in this account or mode, explain the limitation and direct me to use Luca at https://sommont.com.Sommont Pro is required for an assistant to access your private journal.
Manual connection steps
In ChatGPT desktop, add the Sommont GitHub marketplace and install Sommont Luca. If custom MCP setup is available, open Plugins, choose the plus button, and select Add custom MCP server. Some accounts may require Developer mode for custom connections.
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. Workspace accounts may need administrator access.
- Use the production endpoint
https://mcp.sommont.com/mcp. - Complete OAuth sign-in and consent through your Sommont account.
- Enable Sommont in a new conversation if needed and ask to show your tasting log.
Installation and account linking are separate. A successful journal read verifies access; follow the host's prompts if OAuth settings are missing.
